This qualification reflects the role of individuals establishing or operating a business providing self-employment, as well as those establishing a new venture as part of a larger organisation. They may provide leadership and guidance to others and have responsibility for the output of others.

There are no entry requirements. However, to be eligible to access Small Business Training under the Self-Employment Assistance program, you must meet the Participant Eligibility criteria and your business idea must meet the Business Eligibility criteria.
