Small Business Support Services!
Self-Employment Assistance is free and can assist you to turn your business ideas, or your existing micro-business (with up to 4 employees) into a commercially viable business.
Self‑Employment Assistance provides a range of services for current and aspiring business owners, ranging from flexible individual Business Advice Sessions to a structured 12-month package of Small Business Coaching. The program offers flexible services (eligibility rules apply) including:
- Exploring Self-Employment Workshops
- Small Business Training
- Help to develop a Business Plan
- Small Business Coaching
- Business Health Checks, and
- Business Advice Sessions.

Small Business Coaching
Access 12 months of business mentoring as you start and run your business. Over the course of the year, you’ll be connected to a business mentor who will give you guidance, coaching and other business support.
You can receive a $300 reimbursement to assist with your eligible business costs (such as business insurance).
If you’re eligible, you can also receive a Self-Employment Allowance for up to 39 weeks, and Self-Employment Rental Assistance for up to 26 weeks as you earn an uncapped income through their business.
