Successful Women In Business Mentor program on again 2009!We are currently running another exciting 'Women in Business' Mentor program which commenced in April 2009; so now we are looking for applicants for the 2010 program.
The program, subsidised by the NSW Department of State and Regional Development, encourages co-operative learning between business people, through personalised mentoring sessions and practical workshops to help women improve their business skills and boost their confidence. Networking is a key component of the program. The Women in Business Mentor program launched in 1995 and since then over 2,500 women have participated in the program. Business Enterprise Centre Northside is currently looking for business women that have been in business between 6 months and two years who would like to enroll in the program as a Mentoree and for business people, men and women, who have been in business for longer than 5 years to join the program as a Mentor.
Right: Tania Notaras, Managing Director, Envirolab In the past, previous participants have made the following comments about this program: "I learned a lot about running a business and the behind the scenes things we can do to make our businesses run smoothly and more profitable. I am definitely more confident in my business and satisfied that I am on the right track." Nikki White (Mentoree) "I wanted to be able to give something back to the community and I do believe this program gives me the opportunity to do that." Karen Conroy (Mentor)
