What you need to know

The amount that you will have to pay for training at Sydney Business will vary depending upon the level of government assistance provided. Many government funded programmes are free to eligible applicants; this is often determined by Centrelink.

Other government funded programmes require an enrolment fee to be paid by the applicant.

We also offer fee for service training where you pay the full cost of training or services.

Recognition of prior learning (RPL)

RPL refers to the formal identification, assessment and acknowledgement of the full range of an individual’s skills, knowledge and capabilities, irrespective of how and where they have been acquired. It is the acknowledgement of skills, competencies, knowledge and work ethos obtained through:

Participants are encourage to think about their learning experience, which may enable them to be granted exemptions for subjects within the course they wish to be enrolled in with Sydney Business.

By recognising the participants past experience and achievements, Sydney Business ensures that the participants do not repeat the skills and knowledge they have already achieved by conducting the RPL assessment
